Select any Monday in Bright Lunar Half (Shukla Paksha).
Submerge this holy bead in 5 things in a steel or silver bowl with unboiled cow milk, Ganga Jal or Holy river water,if not then in any fresh water,Honey, Bel / bilva patra, Misri (small square cubes of sugar which are offered to god)
Lit 5 incense sticks / Dhoop sticks
Put the bowl in your worship place and chant Mantra "Om Namah Shivaay" 108 times minimum. Will make all Shakti Jagrit and energize the beads along with purification (The power or energy will get activated)
This process should be best done within 1 hour of sunrise after taking bath and wearing any fresh white cloth.
